Project: Earring Frame

I saw this project a while ago and have been wanting to try it out ever since! Basically, it is a frame with a mesh insert for earring storage - but it is super cute too!

One of my good friends just had a birthday and she is into crafty projects like me so I decided to make one for her. Her favorite color is green - hence the green coloring and I applied a couple coats of spraypaint. Using a mesh screen, I cut out a 9x11 piece for the 8x10 opening. Using a staple gun, I attached the screen to the backside and trimmed the edges. That's it! Super easy! And I think its pretty darn cute!

I tried it out with some of my jewelry and hung it on the wall before I gave it to Rachel for her birthday. Now I am certain I am going to make one for myself, and maybe a few others.

I also cut these gorgeous zinnias for her birthday - I just can't get enough of those flowers!

I have two of these for my earrings...hanging on the bathroom wall. Very convenient...and great art! I also painted an old steamer basket and hung it on the wall for the stud earrings..so much easier to fit them on and off than the screen.
