Date Card

Chad and I are regular Bachelor and Bachelorette watchers. Go ahead and judge us, but you know you love it too. It is our "Monday Night Date Night In" night and if for some reason we are busy Monday, we record it and watch the show later in the week. That works better anyway, because you can get through without all the commercials - love DVR.

Anyway, there are "date cards" involved in the show and I arrived home the other day to this...
A date card! Pretty adorable, right? He had just gotten home from a fishing trip with his little brother, Boo (yes, I know he just got back from Africa - the boy cannot sit still) and apparently thought we needed a date. No complaints here! So, we are going to the restaurant of my choice this weekend - any suggestions?

On another note, he and Boo caught several salmon and Boo was so excited because he caught more fish, bigger fish, the first fish, etc. We put together a fresh dinner that night. Salmon with fresh herbs out of the garden on the BBQ, greens from the garden topped with veggies, and baby red potatoes (from a friends garden). Yum!
And the weather was so gorgeous we ate on the back patio. Roscoe only tried to get a look at my plate once. I just love summer!
