Africa Update!

So the guys have been gone. Chad, Greg (brother), my dad (Mike), and a few of his friends traveled to South Africa for a safari hunt with Shingani Safaris. For those of you who are curious, this is what I know so far... according to Chad, his guide told him his mother-in-law might need to wire him some more money - joking of course! Here goes:

• Chad: Zebra, Kudu, Impala, Blesbok, Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeast, & Warthog
• Greg: Impala (2), Warthog (2), Kudu, & Gemsbok
  
• Dad: Sable

One of Greg's impalas is probably going to measure in the top 50 in Africa. Pretty awesome! Sounds like the rest of their trophies are pretty great too!

There are other animals that I have heard have been wounded, but I don't know any details so I won't share those until I know for certain. Chad did say that everyone is on track to kill their packages and that he needs to "stay out of the blind" on the last day. His exact words were, "Holy shit, it has been one hell of a trip.....wouldn't change a thing!" Apparently I need to clear some wall space!

Wish I had some photos to share and more details, but I am sure they will be bursting at the seams with stories when they get home! I'll keep you posted.
