Karen's Bridal Shower!

In less than a month - one of my bests is getting married! My mom, sister, Rhonda, and I threw a (ifIdosaysomyself) fabulous shower for Karen this past weekend. How can you go wrong with great women, friends, food, drinks, and fun?!
Karen (the beautiful BRIDE), me (cousin of the bride/MOH), Alisha, (cousin of the bride), Donna (aunt/Godmother of the bride), Bev (mother of the bride), and Vickie (aunt of the bride).

My mother put together some gorgeous red rose floral arrangements for the shower and to give Karen a sneak peek of some of the arrangements for the wedding!
For an afternoon shower, we went with drinks and desserts - complete with a dessert bar with plenty of cupcakes, candies, chocolates, and more! The bar bar had raspberry lemonade and iced tea along with (for those of us who wanted to kick it up a notch) cosmopolitan martinis and white wine sangria. I let the sangria marinate for several hours before the party and the fruit made for a great lunch - unfortunately I wasn't able to drive home for several hours after the party though! More fun to come - bachelorette party this weekend!
